What I like the most about Cal: I like that it is a huge family that is accepting of everyone. This school is outgoing, and their love for Cal lasts on for a lifetime. Cal is not only known for their academic excellence, but for the everlasting desire for change, and I am forever grateful that I get to call this amazing school my home.

What I like the most about Cal: I like that everyone here is always doing what they can to achieve what they want. It is so inspiring to hear about others passions, and watch them work so hard to get to where they want to be.

What is your advice to Cal Fans on how they should enjoy a Cal game?: Come clad in your Cal gear and bring your friends. The more bears the better! Also, keep an eye out for dance team. I heard they're pretty cool! :)
What I like the most about Cal: The energy. It's palpable from the moment you first step foot on campus, reminiscent of Cal's past scholars, and indicative of the student body's ambition.

What I like the most about Cal: What I like most about Cal is the diversity, not necessarily of demographics but of the experiences of the student body. The wide variety of perspectives that students bring to the classroom create a learning environment unique to Cal. I am honored to study and represent a school like UC Berkeley.

What I like the most about Cal: During my past year at Cal, I met so many diverse, intelligent, and unique students, may of whom have become my best friends. These people have made an overwhelmingly positive impact on my life and opened my eyes to new experiences and perspectives. Cal brings people together, and I could not be prouder to cheer for this amazing university. Go Bears!

JONNI ROGERS
 
Jonni Rogers (top)

Position: Head Coach
Alma Mater: Delta Junior College
Hometown: Manteca, CA

Bio: Jonni Rogers has been dancing and competing over 20 plus years in styles ranging from jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, and lyrical. From 2006-2008 Jonni danced professionally for the California Cougars indoor soccer team , where she was awarded captain her second season. At the end of Jonni's senior year of high school she became an Oakland Raiderette. She continued with the team for five seasons from 2008-2013. While on the team Jonni received Rookie of the year , and was captain twice. Jonni was fortunate enough to perform in Mexico City as a rookie, promoting NFL Mexico. As well as being Head Coach of Cal's Dance team , Jonni also is Co-Director of Dance Stars competition team in Manteca,Ca. There she has won choreography and speciality awards over the last 10 years. Jonni is looking forward to a great season with Cal and showcasing the women on the dance teams talent! Go Bears!
